UK announced a unique visa stream for highly skilled migrants, set to be in force in March 2022. According to this separate stream, highly skilled candidates would be able to find jobs with British financial firms without the need for going through tedious bureaucratic processes
More information on this stream will be released soon. However from what we know, the type of candidates who might qualify under such visa category will need to have a valid job offer from a recognized fintech firm. The candidate’s skills level must be at least RQF6, indicating that the applicant would have to be exceptionally talented.
Once U.K. begins processing visa applications under this new scheme, it is expected to become comparable to routes offered by other developed countries like Canada’s Global Talent Stream and Australia’s Global Talent Program.
