The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, announced that the Government of Canada is now encouraging sponsorship applications for parents and grandparents for 2018-19.
This is a great opportunity for the nuclear families in Canada who have been waiting for the reunion with their parents and grandparents. As per the announcement the Government of Canada will willingly accept close to 20,000 applications which are 4times higher in comparison to the acceptance number since its launch in 2014.
The Government’s motive is to help family reunite as they know Parents and grandparents provide support and are helping hands to their children and grandchildren with work and studies and this in turn will lead to development of the community and contribute to the Country’s Economy.
